Just an update from the bukkit site, because I like to share.

Hey guys,

You've probably noticed the Minecraft update 1.6 has been released. Unfortunately its extremely unstable for servers right now.



The "Vanilla Mod" they're talking about using is basically just singleplayer for servers. No commands, chest locks, protection, logblock, etc. So that's not even an option.

For now, we'll continue running the server on 1.5_2. When a stable version of Minecraft 1.6 is released, along with a recommended build of Bukkit, I'll update the server.




Also, if you want to check out minecraft 1.6 on singleplayer, you can. Just make a copy of your current bin file in the .minecraft folder.
